Ayr town centre turn off the coast road to Firth view’s private road and instant tranquility – surrounded by sheep, cows and an array of natural wildlife. Switch off in your spacious new home from home, soak in your wood fired hot tub or sit back and just take in the views with a chilled glass or two.

With the renovation completed in June 2024, this is truly a luxury cottage with contemporary decor, lots of space, peace and tranquility. 2 Bedrooms, both en-suite and all the little extras often missed when on holiday

This cottage was an absolute gem of a property to stay in, everything from the little welcome gifts to the fact it even had washing up liquid, shower gel etc!! It was so peaceful and the views were outstanding. Everything was spotless, comfortable beds, and everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. Clare was very responsive to us when we had a query about the internet. The location was also excellent and I loved seeing all the farm animals too!!

Balig is set in a fantastic location. We really enjoyed looking over the fields to the sea and Arran beyond, and watching all the wildlife. The cottage itself was spotless and had everything you needed and more.

Gorgeous setting, amazing sunsets, perfect cottage! Great for our family for the few days visiting Ayrshire. The cottage is really suitable for young children, and it's warm, safe and stylish. Clare was really helpful, answered our messages quickly (even when I messaged at 8pm Saturday night!) and suggested places for us to visit. We'll definitely be visiting again.

The cottage was so lovely and in a beautiful location. It had everything you could possibly need and was so quiet and peaceful. The children loved the games in the cupboard! It was so kind of you to put up some decorations for my 40th birthday and to leave some Prosecco for us. Thank you for the milk and butter in the fridge too, so thoughtful so we could have a cuppa when we arrived! Thank you for the very quick and friendly messages too!

The location was breathtaking, and it's the perfect place to spend some quite and quality time. The cottage was spic and span, and everything was provided as per the listing. It is very close to the Ayr farm, which is a must visit. The three days went by too soon (doesn't the vacation always end sooner than you expect :). We would love to come back!!

We really enjoyed our 5 nights stay in Clare's cottage. Its a relaxing location with great views. Our toddler loved spying at all the wildlife and farm animals. The furniture was modern and comfortable, stylishly contrasting with the traditional cottage interiors. A great place for a family to stay. Highly recommended!
